EOD Solutions designs smaller system

EOD Solutions Ltd has recently designed a smaller system for destroying small arms ammunition. The system is designed for small manufacturers and agencies such as police forces that have a regular requirement to destroy small quantities of small arms ammunition rather than store the ammunition on site.

The system will be transportable and can be used in a matter of hours of arrival. It can be operated by one person plus personnel for the unpacking process.

EOD Solutions Ltd is also developing a fuze destruction system for the destruction of all types of artillery fuzes reducing them to shredded metal to ensure the total destruction of all the ignition and detonating components.

The clearance at Gerdec has reached its third anniversary and is on track for completion in 2012 -2013. EOD Solutions Ltd hosted a lunch for the workforce to celebrate three years of clearance work without incident. The dedicated workforce has proved to be professional and resourceful during the operation and the management would like to thank all of them for their efforts and loyalty.

Support of the donor has been of the utmost importance and our relationship with the United States Department of State www.state.gov/t/pm/wra is as strong as ever. The funding is provided through the International Trust fund for Demining and Mine Victims http://www.itf-fund.si/ who subcontracts to Sterling International who manages the funds for the project which is sub contracted to EOD Solutions Ltd.
